ALWAYS DEMBA

I’m all alone
If you are a boy who is friendly, do you have a friend you can send me? I’m all alone you see . Do you have a friend you can lend me ?

                               Always Demba
There was Demba. He was always there. Every day when Lamine came home from school, Demba was there. Waiting for him. Demba was only fifteen years. He lived in the apartement next to Lamine . he waited for Lamine every day . Some days he waited on the steps of the house . some days he would come to the door of Lamine ‘s apartement . But every day he was there, waiting for Lamine. Demba always said , hi lamine . will you play white me ? But lamine always said , No Demba you are to small. He couldn’t play ball . He couldn’t skate. He didn’t even go to school . And lamine had many big friends. He didn’t want to play with Demba .

One day something happened at school . Lamine come to the end of his reading book . And the teacher let him take it home ! Lamine ran home whit his book. When he got home, there was Demba on the steps. Hi, lamine, said Demba . will you play whit me ? For once Lamine was glad to see Demba . He wanted to show someone his book . Hey , Demba, you know what ? lamine said . I can read this book ! it’s called  a story for evry day . look ! Demba looked  at the book ! could you read some of it to me ? he asked . Sure, Lamine said . he sat down on the steps whit Demba.

He read the first story in the book .that was good. Demba said. Read me another . Lamine read another story to Demba , and then another . he read to Demba  until they come to the end of the book . After that day, Lamine was happy to see Demba on the steps . and Demba liked to hear them . Lamine still played whit his big friends. But now he had a small friend, too. Someone he could always read to.

Ousemane

                                         Ousemane Mbaye

Ousemane is a little boy from 11 years old he lives in Dakakids.
He lived before whit his parents in Yoff and then his farther sent him to a Daara Coranic school in Futa for few years. After a few years he run back to his mother because it was very hard in the Daara. He is very intelligent but badly his parents didn’t understand him. He just wants to go to school like his comrades. Every morning his comrades walk near him going to school that why he want to go to school too like his comrades. Because every day his comrades make fun off him. Ousemane his very sad because his parents did not want him to learn French. If a child decide to learn for me is better when you encourage him. Ousemane is one of the best pupils in Dakarkids School. He is good at school but the only thing is he is very small and thin that's why the other boys make fun off him. like me when i was 12 years old my friends do the same with me because i was the smallest but it’s wasn’t my fault of course

Abdou

who ever been to school
Abdou is a little poor boy who live whit his mother. Every morning from Monday to Friday he goes to school. His mother goes always to the market to make money to pay Abdou’s school and their food.
But it’s not easy for them because every day they had to do something to fine money every single day they had to do something no Sunday no holliday every day working.

Their life is very very hard and non-help from the other people. So hustler is the better way for them like they do. But Abdou is very intelligent his good at school. You know street children and poor children are different because street children are always in the street and poor children are normal but they don’t have money to buy good stuff but it’s not their fault. Abdou’s mother is always working and working very very hard for Abdou’s future that she is a good mother.

You know some children are bad because their parents didn’t take care of them; they don’t care about their children. And that is a very bad education for the children, because when the children grown up they will not take care of their children too. I’m always thinking about the future. I don’t have friends no girlfriend nothing I’m always alone. And I hope it’s not a good life.

You know it’s nice to be friends and making love have a family. Really I don’t want to live alone I need some one in my life I mean wife children and family. In Senegal there are many poor children like me I was born poor that I had to work very hard to earn money for my life. My farther die in years 2003 in that’s moment I was a little boy, like ten years some thing like that and my mother was very nice whit me but she don’t have money for my education, so that’s why I came Dakar to make money to have a good life like every body.

After seven years in the village then I said now is finish I had to go to Dakar to look for money because I want the better thing in my life so that’s why I had to hustler every day. But I knew it’wont be easy whit me but I had to do it cause I don’t had non-chose. Whitout my experient I wouldn’t have all of this so I have to thanks god. So much.

You know in Senegal if you are poor people they don’t care anything about you. But maybe some days we will get riche, but really good life is better than rich. I mean if you are a good person and you have a good family good life for me that is enough.
